Practice Area Description
Business, Corporate and Tax Law The Firm's lawyers have extensive experience in commercial transactions, including the purchase and sale of assets and business, as well as in addressing the tax implications of such transactions.  Formation of business entities, including corporations and limited liability companies, preparation of sale agreements and other contracts, and negotiation with tax authorities are routine activities for our lawyers.   We represent businesses with regard to employment, on-going business operations, and other legal issues which may arise.
Civil Litigation Trial work is a central part of the Firm's practice. We will work towards resolving your case in a quick and beneficial manner, including early settlement negotiations where appropriate. The Firm's trial lawyers have pursued and defended a wide variety of claims for individual and corporate clients. Our civil litigation experience includes appellate work, business disputes, commercial litigation, construction matters, contract disputes, collections and creditors' suits, employment matters, insurance coverage disputes, landlord-tenant cases, land use disputes, lease and real property matters, and trust, estate, and probate litigation. The Firm also provides representation in mediation, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Personal Injury and Property Damage When a person has been injured or lost a loved one, or has had property damaged or destroyed, because of the fault of another, the Firm's experienced trial attorneys will aggressively represent the victim's interests with insurance companies and in court to obtain just compensation from the responsible person, persons, or entity. Our personal injury and property damage experience includes automobile accidents including accidents involving pedestrians, house fires, intentional torts like assault, defamation and trespass, medical malpractice, nuisance, premises liability, products liability, and wrongful death.
Estate Planning and Administration The Firm tailors estate and gift plans to its clients' individual needs and wishes, providing sound tax planning both during life and for the beneficiaries of its clients' estates.  Estate planning may include the preparation of wills, advance medical directives, powers of attorney, and trusts.  We provide guidance in the clients' funding and choice of trust, including revocable, irrevocable, insurance, charitable, and residential trusts.  We also frequently assist clients with the administration of trusts and estates.
