Mr. Becchi has an active civil litigation practice in a variety of areas of the law. Since 1986, he has represented plaintiffs and defendants in contract disputes, construction matters, commercial law cases, and personal injury lawsuits, including nursing home and assisted living abuse and neglect. He also practices alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and binding arbitration. He is admitted to practice law in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia and federal courts in those jurisdictions.
Mr. Becchi graduated from Gettysburg College, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in 1983 with a double major in political science and psychology. He received his J. D. from the T.C. Williams School of Law (University of Richmond), in Richmond, Virginia, in 1986.
Mr. Becchi manages the firm’s Harrisonburg, Virginia office. Before joining the firm, he managed the Harrisonburg office of another regional law firm. Prior to moving to Harrisonburg, Mr. Becchi represented clients (including international clients) in courts around the country. During that time, he practiced from law offices in Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia.
Mr. Becchi is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Bar Association, the Maryland Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Rockingham County Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Becchi is an active member of local chapters of national chartable service organizations, the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce, and the Shenandoah Valley Builders’ Association.
